Have you been looking for some new dog walks in Cardinia? If you live in the Cardinia region, there are many amazing spots to take your pup for a walk! Going for a walk and getting some fresh air is the best way to spend time with your dog on the weekend. It gives your furbaby the chance to stretch their legs and explore the world outside your backyard.

However, for us hoomans, and for our dogs, it can be a little boring walking the same routes over and over again. New routes stimulate dogs as they love to explore. It’s also a good opportunity for us to see more of the interesting places in our community. Arena Frog Sanctuary

This flat trail is perfect if you are looking for a light walk on the residential side of Lagoon Row in Officer. The 1.2 km loop takes approximately 15 – 25 minutes to walk depending on how you’d like to pace yourself. Along the trail you’re also likely to see birds and ducks and maybe even frogs! Beaconsfield Flora and Fauna Reserve

The Beaconsfield Flora and Fauna Reserve is a local gem to play fetch with your dog. The walk is a little over 2 km and takes approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. It is another scenic walk in the Cardinia region with plenty of chances for you and your dog to come across birds. Find it here!

Aspect Wetlands

Aspect Wetlands lies on Bridge Road in Pakenham and is a wonderful place to go walking with your dog. The 1.2 km walk lies near a BBQ area, playground and picnic area making it a great space to eat, walk and play! Heritage Springs Track

Another beautiful trail to take your dog walking along in Pakenham is the Heritage Springs Track. If you’re looking for a longer walk, this is the track to head to! The 3.3 km track takes approximately 40 – 50 minutes to walk. The track even has outdoor fitness equipment along the way to enhance your walk!
