07 Oct What to bring on your Doggy Day Out adventure!
Doggy Day Out events are a day full of wagging tails, barks of joy and furry smiles! Join us at one of our upcoming Doggy Day Out events for a guaranteed family fun day featuring live music, market stalls, food trucks and so much more. If you plan on coming along for a day full of family fun, there are a couple of things we recommend bringing to ensure you have the best Doggy Day Out!
What to bring on your Doggy Day Out adventure:
- Your dog!
Be sure to bring along your furry friends so you can enjoy a fun day out with your dog and meet likeminded dog lovers in your area. If you don’t have your own pupper or doggo, that’s ok! You can still come along with a friend meet your neighbours gorgeous dogs!
- A lead
Don’t forget to pack a lead! At our events, dogs must always be on leads to ensure the safety of your dog and everyone else’s. No lead means no play!
- Water
Remember to pack water! There will always be water available at our events, but it’s always a good idea to bring along water and a bowl for your dog, just in case. It’s going to be a big day for them after all!
- Cash
Plan on checking out some of the awesome market stalls at our events? Be sure to bring some cash along so you can purchase from any of our stallholders. Many of our market stalls accept EFTPOS, but you won’t want to miss out on purchasing a product you love from a stall that is cash only!
- Poop bags!
It is your responsibility as a dog owner to clean up after your four-legged companion, so please bring poo bags! Nobody wants to see or step in a messy dog poo situation!
- Weather protection
Doggy Day Out events are always outdoors, so it’s important to check the weather before you come along. If it looks like it’s going to rain, pack an umbrella, coats for both you and your pupper and a towel in case it gets muddy. If it’s going to be hot, please remember your sunscreen and hat!
- Your dog’s best outfit!
We often run a ‘Best Dressed’ competition at Doggy Day Out. If your pup loves to dress up, bring along their best outfit and go into the running to win awesome prizes!
- A camera
Lastly, don’t forget to bring a camera so you can take snaps of all the pups. If you capture a great snap, remember to post them on Instagram and tag us @doggydayoutevents. We love seeing photos of your dogs at our events!
