Baw Baw Pet Expo, a free event is coming to Burke Street Park, Warragul in the Baw Baw Shire from 10am until 3pm on Sunday the 5th April 2020.

Baw Baw Pet Expo will feature live music, over 30 market stalls, food trucks, activities for pet owners, dogs and their other pets that can be brought along on a leash or contained safely. It will feature dog training demonstrations and more the whole family can enjoy.

The event aims to bring the local community together and celebrate all that is great about being a pet owner, as well as educating the community on responsible pet ownership and the wellbeing of our pets.

MARKET STALLS

Visit Baw Baw Pet Expo and enjoy over 30+ market stalls with everything you need for your pets, pups and pooches.

LIVE MUSIC

Enjoy live music from Nick Anderson all day long. We will play music you will love to hear, high energy performances and engaging crowd interaction. Playing the latest Top songs plus all the classics from decades past.

PET AGILITY ACTIVITIES

Come along to Baw Baw Pet Expo and try your pet with some agility equipment.  Practicing agility is a great way to create a strong bond between you and your best friend, plus it can be lots of fun for you and your pet.  Our agility zone is free to use and includes tunnels, jumps, weaving poles, splash zones and ball pits.

PET COMPETITIONS

Does your pet have what it takes to win a competition?  This Baw Baw Pet Expo we will be looking for the Best Trick and Best Dressed.  Our competition will be judged by a panel of judges. Prizes will be provided by Kong!

Time: 1pm – 1:45pm

Cost: Donation to enter – all proceeds are donated to our charity partner.

DOG OBEDIENCE

Watch as our experts showcase their dog training methods and results. Dog training is based on leadership, trust and consistency. When properly applied they will give you amazing results.

FLY BALL COMPETITIONS

The Australian Fly Ball Association will be at the Baw Baw Pet Expo showcasing a Flyball Competition.  Flyball consists of a relay race between two teams of four dogs. Each dog must jump over four hurdles, retrieve a ball by triggering a flyball box pedal and then return over the hurdles to the start/finish line. It is great fun to watch so come on down and watch the dogs all day!

HOWLING HUSKYS

Howling Huskys will be presenting Rescue Dog Extravaganza, a high energy and interactive dog show, which stands out by its great variety of performances, and its unique pack of talented rescue dogs.

11am – 12pm: Pat n’ Play with the dogs
12pm – 1pm: Performance 2
2pm – 3pm: Performance 3
3pm: Pat n’ Play with the dogs

BUBBLE BURSTING MANIA

Does your pet love bubbles? Come on down and join the Baw Baw Pet Expo in Warragul and your pet can enjoy a bubble bursting mania of fun.  Watch them pop, burst and create hours of fun for your pup.

PET EXPERIENCE ZONE

Kong will be on site providing free dog experience zone stuff full of their toys for your puppy to play with as long as their hearts desire… or until another dog wants to have a turn.  A dog obedience demonstrator will showcasing and teach you how you can enrich your pet’s life with a few key tips and tricks.
